The touch of the golden hand WTH

September 12, 2009

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woooooohooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yipppppppppppiiiiiieeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*do the victory dance*

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t even explain how esctatic I am now!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After a restless night with only 4 hours of sleep, I can finally roll over my bed now and go snoring away……. scrap the snoring part…… i’m a lady…. a lady does not snore WTH

Come come come… Ask me what happened… Ask Lah!!!!! kekekekeke… I’m in such good mood, I’ll just let you know despite your unwillingless to listen read…lalalalalala…..

Last night we had our first BFM performance. Energy was high. Moments were immortalized by a great invention called camera. Thank God for cameras, especially for posers like us…

Then, SHIT Accident happens.

My 4 month old baby was dropped, hitting hard on the steps of the stairs. Colors flashed on the lcd screen. Shrieks came from every corner. Camera lens made clicking sounds. Apologies were rampant. I was, devastated…

But we still had half of the show to go. I went to a corner, to get a grip. Did my best in the last two dances. Went back to check my baby. No good news T.T

Many tried to save my baby. All attempts failed. Thankful for their help, but had to prepare myself for the worst.

Went to supper. Camera flashes were going around. Stared at my baby. Heartache.

We stil had fun doing something unspeakable in McD… Lol…

Went home. 12.40am. Called L. L found information and websites for me to refer to in hopes of fixing the camera, he even found the nearest shop + details of its opening time on Saturday for me to enquire. Went through all the forums. Did what they suggested. Had battery fully charged. Tried AV cable. Hit the camera on the palm of my hand. Blew compressed air into the lens. Press on/off button with shutter butter simultaneously. All in vain. Gave up at 4am. Tried to sleep.

&^%$@#$%*@    Got up automatically at 8am!!!!!!!!!!

Went back to check my baby. Hoping that some pixies would have come by night and miraculously ‘healed’ it. Nop. False hope.

Waited till 9am. Called the shop immediately. Shop Guy was friendly. Told me better to buy a new camera. Lens replacement will cost $265. I told him the price stated in the forum is somewhere around $60. He said, ‘welcome to New Zealand.’ @_@

If i’m gonna get a new camera anyway, I’m not gonna be too soft with my baby with overwhelmed fears.

Turn the power on again. When the lens shot up, clicking happily annoyingly away, I pressed the lens down firmly.

CLICK!

It’s fixed. Fixed? You sure???? On. Off. On. Off. Zoom in. Zoom out. Snap snap snap………………..

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh………….. (refer back to 1st paragraph)

…. and they live happily ever after. The end. (unless I decided to discard poor baby for a new love in the future…huhu…)

Who would have expected a simple act of pressing the lens down and the sound of a click would have cost NZD 265… Daylight robbery!

Don’t you think that there might be a warranty?

Anyway, get your cameras in Malaysia.
