winding down notes…

June 29, 2010

Days come and go…

Well, it’s the mark we left behind that matters… Right?

Getting rather ‘jiwang’ recently.

The arrival of the juniors, looking blur, confused, and perhaps trying to absorb the fact that they are now stuck in this sh*thole…

The rather redundant pre-prac briefing that is supposed to last for 5 days… (which part of ‘brief’ they do not understand in the word ‘briefing’?)

The constant butterflies fluttering in the stomach at the thought of real teaching beginning next week…

The increasing amount of times I found myself rushing to the loo with my ever-thinning toilet roll…

The rather wet weather that’s causing me to cough quite a bit…

The regret of not being able to care for poor sick L…

The yet-unsolved problem of transportation for practicum…

.

.

Somehow I’m missing that day, when I first entered this place in my white punjabi suit…

I was in high spirits, excited about my acceptance into IPBA…

I was up for the challenge…

I thought I would do good…

.

.

That was 5 years ago…
